About Design Air, Inc.

Leo Zepeda, lead installer and service repair technician for Design Air, Inc., a local family owned and operated Heating and Air Conditioning Company in the Inland Empire.

For four years, Leo worked with a masonry company in Orange County, with long hours, not enough pay and not to mention the commute from Corona to Orange County every day was taking a toll on him. His long time best friend Megan, introduced him to Design Air, and in 2012, he began working as an installation and service technician in training. After one year and thousands of service calls and installations, he was promoted and given his own work van and able to work unsupervised.

While working in the trade and taking classes for his position, he now holds his EPA license, R-410a refrigerant License, is certified in residential and commercial HVAC service and installation, has his certificate in combustion safety, is NATE certified, GUTS certified and BPI certified. With all of his training, certificates, attention to detail and amazing customer service, he was able to rise to lead installer while still performing service and repair for both residential and commercial properties.

Leo is an avid golfer, video game player and comic book enthusiast. He spends his free time reading, watching movies and spending time with his family.

Leo hopes to grow with the company and maintain his high position for years to come. He wants to continue to grow and learn new HVAC applications and extend his knowledge in the industry and to one day bring plumbing applications to the company and further extend its growth and service operations.

Megan Davidson, Vice President and Office manager of Design Air, Inc., a local family owned and operated Heating and Air Conditioning Company in the Inland Empire.

Megan maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures: preparing payroll, controlling correspondence, oversees all clerical functions and creates and manages all advertising and marketing for the company.

In 2011, she graduated from college with high honors from the dean’s list with both an A.S. in Math and Science and an A.A. in Business Administration and Information Systems. She began working for Design Air in 2005 part time as the book keeper and slowly climbed her way to higher positions with more responsibilities. In 2011, she began working full time for the company, with all of the duties of a manager while preforming the tasks of a secretary as well.

In early 2014, one of the founders, Cindy, and Megan’s mother passed away from Cancer. Megan then had to take on all of her normal responsibilities as well as become sole operator of the office until her younger sister, Karley, began helping in the office part time.

While in college, Megan was a full time student, part time office staff member of Design Air, and owner of her own dog training business. Her love of animals brought her into the field and her business sense helped her succeed. With hardship in her family, she decided to turn her studies to business so she could help run her families Air Conditioning and Heating business.

Megan’s time is mostly consumed with work, but on her free time, she enjoys going to sports events, watching movies, remodeling and decorating her home and spending time with her family.

Megan’s hope for Design Air, Inc., is to see it flourish into a big well-oiled machine. She hopes that one day the business will be passed down to her. She will keep the business in her family for as long as possible. She wants nothing more for the business, than complete acceptance and appreciation by all of its customers. She wants it to continue to stand for quality, honesty and family.
